3DE CLUB FAQS

Why was the 3D Entrepreneurs (3DE) Club launched?

The 3D Entrepreneurs (3DE) Club is a social impact initiative launched by 3DTraining, Inc., based in Silicon Valley, California. 3DTraining, Inc. was founded by 3DMirage Studios with support from Autodesk to address the industry's shortage of skilled 3D talent.

Currently, 3DTraining is the industry's leading provider of a work-simulation training platform, which has proven to be the fastest way for architects, engineers, and designers to gain high-level proficiency with Autodesk 3D software.

The inspiration for the 3DE Club came from an 11-year-old girl who wanted to learn Autodesk Fusion 360. After witnessing her creative projects and her aspirations to make a positive impact on the world, we decided to launch the 3DE Club.

We believe that fostering an entrepreneurial mindset at an early age—encompassing innovation, resourcefulness, and adaptability—is critical for our youth to navigate career changes effectively in the AI era.

Who can participate in the 3DE Club, and what are the benefits?

The 3DE Club is an online after-school program for students ages 8-18 where members develop entrepreneurial, leadership, and financial skills through our engaging and interactive online learning platform.

This unique opportunity allows your child to start their entrepreneurial journey early, gaining valuable skills that will give them an edge in their career.

Most importantly, the 3DE Club enhances self-worth and boosts confidence in members' abilities, laying a strong foundation for future success.

What are the time requirements, and is a 3D printer necessary?

The entire program is self-paced and conducted entirely online, with 2+ hours after-school ensuring it does not conflict with your child's studies and other activities.

The program can be paused during exams and vacation travel. Your child will need a computer or laptop with internet access and can participate from anywhere.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having access to a 3D printer is not required. There are many options for 3D printing today, such as UPS stores, online companies like Shapeways, that can even print on demand with materials such as steel, bronze, copper, gold, and others.
