The Monterey Bay–Santa Cruz region is known for its natural beauty, vibrant communities, and cultural richness. Yet it faces urgent challenges—a shrinking workforce, rising housing costs, and widening economic gaps.
To meet these challenges, the region must invest in empowering youth with early technology and entrepreneurship skills to foster the next generation of leaders and changemakers who create high-paying jobs, build a resilient economy, and drive inclusive growth to secure Monterey Bay’s future.
3D Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub at MAH
The 3D Entrepreneurs Club (3DE Club) plans to launch Monterey Bay’s first 3D Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History (MAH) in early 2026.
The transformative Hub will empower students—regardless of background—with future-ready skills such as creative problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and a resilient entrepreneurial mindset.
3D Innovation Hubs are immersive learning spaces where students create micro-businesses using emerging technologies like 3D printing, AR/VR, and AI—transforming creativity into real-world impact.
