Ed Colligan, hailed as an industry legend and 2024 Titans Award honoree, has shaped Silicon Valley through a career spanning groundbreaking tech ventures and renewable energy leadership.

After earning a Political Science degree from the University of Oregon, Colligan dove into the emerging startup scene, playing key roles at five pioneering companies. At Radius, he helped build the Macintosh hardware ecosystem, before joining Palm Computing, where he was instrumental in developing the revolutionary Palm Pilot.

In the late 1990s, he co-founded Handspring, creator of the Treo smartphone, later merging it with Palm, where as President & CEO he grew revenues beyond $2B and launched WebOS and the Palm Pre. These innovations helped lay the foundation for today’s smartphone era.

Today, Colligan continues to mentor entrepreneurs and invest in new ventures. He serves on the boards of Levered Learning, and Low Carbon, where he is also Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Americas, advancing large-scale renewable energy projects.
